2024 Fairbanks Aurora Hunting Trip - March 7-11

The Alaska trip is a great way to see the auoras and experience the wilderness of Alaska. Ken and I have been aurora hunting around Fairbanks doe 13 years and have been leading tours there since 2017. We have the experience and knowledge to help you have your best chance to experience the magic of the auroras and seeing the sites of Alaska.

In 2024 we anticipate seeing some of the best aurora shows since 2013. Next year the sun is forecast to reach "solar maximum". Solar maximum means that the sun will be reaching a peak of sun spots, solar flares, and Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), activity which leads to auroras here on earth. With Solar Maximum occuring roughly every 10 years if you miss this opportunity you'll have to wait until 2034 to have this chance to see likely the most abundant, colorful and active auroras.
